This sounds like the kind of stories that your grandpa would tell you about the time when he was a kid, and had to walk to school in a snowstorm, with his bare feet :-)
When I was at photography school, I had to go up at 5 in the morning, walk 3 kilometres, to take a bus (yes, I was living that far out in the countryside).
But this beautiful sight was what I sometimes could see, when I walked from my home. Made it all worth it :-)
